This is the Week that Was

A light-hearted, yet serious show, dedicated to providing you, the audience, with a combination of great music – some you’ll know, some you’ll not know and, thanks to the Big Cheese moment, some you’ll either grow to love or want to look in the Yellow Pages under ‘Contract Killer willing to take out DJs’ – as well as local and national news. We’ll cover items happening this week, coupling with what happened this week in the past.

There’ll be Witty Gags, the Catherine Wheel of Time, Bangers, Sparklers and anything else that stops us being on top of the Bonfire this year. And though we’ll have been awake since hours we didn’t know previously existed, we hope to still be able to speak and provide you with a couple of hours of great entertainment. You’ll be able to ring in, email, text, twitter, employ a pigeon with a note… We’d like to hear from you. If you like us we’re Dave & Pete; if you don’t we’re Katie & Peter. We look forward to brightening up your mornings.

"Perpetual "Pete Sanders

“Wow, this is just like my first date all over again. Trying to impress and wondering whether the lights should be on or off.”
“Perpetual" Pete Sanders is a male with DAMART (Don’t Ask My Age. Risky Topic). 5 feet 8, all his own hair, much of it still on his head. He has blue eyes – no specks, well specs if we’re honest. His day job is working in education. He’s been a headteacher of two inner-London primary schools, written over 50 books, many using joined-up writing, and has a passion for radio.  He’s teaming up with "Powerful" Dave Green to provide listeners with a wake-up call that he hopes will go with a bang and not end up a damp squib. Listen in, listen up and enjoy. All this and a great face for radio.

"Powerful" Dave Green

"Wow! This is just like Internet Dating all over  again!"
"Powerful Dave" is a 27-year-old male with GSOR (Good Sense of  Radio), 5'5" (and a half), dark blonde hair (well, we think it's hair. It  looks like a small creature has curled up and died) and blue eyes, one of  which has a tiny brown speck in it.
His day job is that of a fraud  investigator for a Blue Chip company. In reality this means very little. He does, however, know if you're listening or not, and won't be happy if you don't. He's pairing up with Pete for the Big Bang to bring you a  light-hearted start to Fridays and Sundays on this years' Rocket Run... and  a warm, fluffy feeling inside.
