COLOUR SUPPLEMENT - MULTI-PURPOSE ROCKET BANNER

Rocket FM's wonderful new banner, which you will have seen fluttering proudly above the pedestrian precinct, is in fact a multi-purpose resource.

Some of you may have heard the broadcast appeal for help in locating Paul Watts' lost "fleecy", which resulted in its return to a tearful Paul. Well, it's not the only item of clothing that young Watts has mislaid. Now he's gone and lost his trousers, and Rocket has been obliged to clothe his modesty in the new banner. Doesn't it fit well?

But, capacious though it is, the banner is not actually very warm, so Paul has persuaded some gullible friends to join him, in order to stop him shivering. (Left to right, they are Geoffrey-John, Andy Reeve and Molly Mockford.)

So please, please, scour the streets of Lewes (actually, you will probably have more success if you scour the pubs) for Paul Watts' missing trousers! If you see them - and they are believed to be following an independent existence during their temporary glorious freedom - do not approach them direct, but call the RSPCA, whose trained operatives should be able to subdue them and return them, chastened, to Paul.
