COLOUR SUPPLEMENT - ROCKET PRESENTER IS TOP RACING DRIVER

It is a little known fact that one of the Rocket personnel is a Formula One driver, greatly in demand for new prototypes.

Peter Flanagan was testing last week at Goodwood.

There are also reports of him being quite tetchy at Twineham and having a small hissyfit at Little Horsted.

Peter reached a milestone in his Grand Pricks racing career this weekend. "I actually passed another driver in an identical car," he said, claiming that tears, as he spoke, were caused by the wind. (We did tell him to lay off the beans on toast before a big race.)

He really is quite a driver, though. Well, he manages to drive us all round the twist.

At the end of his interview, Peter was about to head off for Le Mans, but changed gear (and his mind) when it was pointed out to him that this bore no relation whatsoever to Les Girls.
