From our 2016 broadcast
The Darker Shades of Sun Street > LISTEN AGAIN
Frances Stenlake’s script brings to life true tales of 19th century scandal and crime centred around Sun Street in the Pells area of Lewes. The writer researched newspaper archives from the 1820s, when the Sun Street community developed, and was amused to see how frequently residents were involved in various unlawful activities … either as victims or as perpetrators.
