Elsa Hewitt is a songwriter and producer from Lewes. Her songs fuse the good, the bad and the ugly: deadpan delivery and dense thickets of prose; melodic, meticulous and moody beats, and strongly emotional compositions. She started playing guitar and writing songs at 13, home-recording her own albums. Now, with over ten albums to her name, Hewitt has written more than most can claim for an entire lifetime. Yet, at 25, there appears to be no curb to her creativity, as she plans her most productive year to date. She has just been awarded the Lynsey de Paul Prize by the PRS Foundation, funding an exciting new project, and is set to release her Cameras From Mars album along with several EPs and mini albums.

Elsa Hewitt Presents (Tuesday 18 October and Tuesday 1 November, 9pm -11pm) showcases her talent.
