Jim Chambers loves music. The first proper gig he went to was The Smiths (the first actual gig was Wham) and the most recent was Sleaford Mods. In between, he’s seen everyone from Nirvana to Leonard Cohen via the likes of Underworld, Pulp and Future Islands. He also likes Bonfire. A lot.
“All over the place in a good way” and “Willfully obscure” are just two descriptions of Jim’s taste in music – but we’ll call his show, The Fireworks Forty, a kind of homage to the late, great John Peel. It’s a rundown of Jim’s favourite tracks from November 2014 to November 2015 – The Fireworks Forty – or as near to forty as he can cram in to two hours.
