Gordon Bull will be presenting a two hour programme of New Orleans Jazz on 25th October this year. His love of jazz goes back to the 50s when, as a youth, he went to numerous North London Jazz Clubs, concerts, bought the latest records and then began to collect early jazz music as it came out on record. With a record collection of over 4,000 tunes, choosing will be difficult but fun. Gordon’s background is in teaching and computing at university. He is heavily involved with Lewes U3A, helping run various jazz and science-related activities as well as going to the local jazz clubs at the Snowdrop Inn and Hassocks.
