Jamie Freeman fronts his band, The Jamie Freeman Agreement, described by Spiral Earth as “the UK’s very own Americana virtuosos”. With ‘100 Miles From Town’ they “set about defining English Americana” (according to FATEA) and achieved a whopping 4.5 stars from Maverick Magazine.
Testament to the quality of Jamie’s songwriting is the roster of names happy to lend themselves to the album; Mark Chadwick (executive producer), Larkin Poe, Brandy Zdan (Twilight Hotel), Good Lovelies, BJ Cole and Richard Smith all feature.
The band are signed to the label he and wife Stevie founded as part of Union Music Store, and have released two albums. In 2015 The Agreement backed Nashville singer Angaleena Presley on two shows, including the main stage at Cambridge Folk Festival.
Jamie has been a musician and songwriter all his life. He is the brother of acting sensation Martin Freeman (The Hobbit, Sherlock) and spent time playing with late 80’s synth-popsters Frazier Chorus, led by another talented brother, Tim.
